Kayla + Doug have been together for 10 years and have been looking forward to becoming husband and wife for quite sometime now. When covid cancelled 3 engagement sessions and 3 weddings, these two finally decided they just couldn’t wait any longer and eloped!! I was so happy to get to capture both their engagement session and pineridge hollow elopement within 2 days of each other.

In just a few weeks this day was planned amongst changing restrictions and such uncertainty. Pineridge hollow was so acommodating and even created Kayla’s dream florals off of one inspiration image. Personal services were all closed, so yes, this stunning bride did her own hair and makeup for the day (Doug even helped with the back of her hair)! These two were together the whole day, helped each other get ready and wrote the sweetest vows that they exchanged in front of myself, their marriage commissioner and their two wittnesses.

The intimacy of elopements have my heart and hope to see them even more in the future, even when the big parties are allowed.
